Elton John Bringing ‘All The Hits’ Tour To STAPLES Center

It’s been thirteen years since Elton John last performed in Los Angeles, but now the Rocket Man and his band are returning the City of Angels for a show that promises nothing but the hits.

Elton John and his band are bringing the ‘All The Hits’ Tour to STAPLES Center for the very first time on Saturday, October 4th, it was announced Monday.

“We are incredibly excited to have the incomparable Sir Elton John headline STAPLES Center in Los Angeles for the first time,” said Lee Zeidman, Sr. Vice President and General Manager, STAPLES Center in a press release. “It is a true honor that one of music’s most legendary performers has chosen STAPLES Center to host his first Los Angeles headlining concert in over a decade.”

And when you’re talking about ‘all the hits’ over Elton’s illustrious career, that includes an incredible 29 consecutive top 40 singles like “Crocodile Rock,” “Your Song,” “Daniel,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “Bennie and the Jets” and so many more.

The music icon isn’t stopping any time soon, either. His latest studio album The Diving Board features brand new material written by Elton and his longtime writing partner Bernie Taupin. Also earlier this year, Elton celebrated the 40th anniversary of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road with a special deluxe re-issue of the album featuring a bonus disc of contemporary artists like Miguel and Ed Sheeran covering his biggest hits. Both albums are available in stores and online now.

Tickets for Elton John at STAPLES Center go on sale to the public Monday, June 9th at 10 a.m. on AXS.com.
