Acclaimed singer-songwriter Jackson Browne isn’t ‘running on empty’ anytime soon, but rather the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer is preparing a full-scale fall tour across the U.S. and U.K., he announced Tuesday.

That’s not all fans have to look forward to from Browne. He also has new music on the way with a new album Standing In The Breach, scheduled for release on October 6 (international) and 7 (U.S.).

His 14th album to date, Standing In The Breach features a 10-song track listing with deeply personal and political themes “exploring love, hope, and defiance in the face of the advancing uncertainties of modern life,” according to the singer’s website.

Fans in the SoCal can catch Jackson Browne live at the Newport Folk Fest Presents Way Over Yonder in Santa Monica on Sept. 27th.
