The emotional roller coaster Genesis has taken fans on in recent months over whether they will or won’t be reuniting may finally have an end in sight, and the ride may be worth enduring all those ups and downs.

On Thursday, the band’s official Facebook page teased fans to “Stay tuned for some exciting Genesis news here tomorrow” and unveiled a new logo, according to Ultimate Classic Rock.

This news comes on the heels of the band’s recent reunion of all five core members – Tony Banks, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett and Mike Rutherford – for the first time since 1975 for a BBC documentary, Genesis: Together and Apart.

Since that reunion, rumors have been swirling that a possible Genesis reunion could be on the way. Though Hackett quickly squashed those hopes with a message on Twitter: “To my knowledge there are no plans for a Genesis reformation including the five of us.”

So what’s this “exciting news” the band is announcing Friday? It could be nothing more than release details of the band’s upcoming BBC documentary. But then why debut a new logo ? Could it be album artwork hinting at new music on the way? A clue of a reunion tour? Or something else?

Until Friday, we’ll be sitting here waiting in anticipation.
