Sony Authorizes Christmas Day Opening of The Interview

It looks like Americans will have a chance to see James Franco blow up Kim Jong-un after all, this Christmas.

Tim League, of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema chain, announced via Twitter today that Sony Pictures has authorized screenings of The Interview. Its opening had been pulled after the studio’s network was hacked and sensitive information and e-mails leaked online. The FBI has determined North Korea was responsible for the attack.

The Plaza Theater in Atlanta will also be showing the film, reports say.
