Van Halen Announce North American Tour, Live TV Performance On ‘Kimmel’

Just days after announcing an upcoming TV appearance on The Ellen Show April 2nd (which subsequently spilled the beans about a tour announcement) Van Halen has officially announced dates for a North American Tour this summer/fall.

Van Halen will hit the road starting July 5th in Seattle and wrap up at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 2nd, Rolling Stone reports. The band recently announced the release of a new live record Tokyo Dome Live in Concert on March 31st – the first to feature the vocals of original lead singer David Lee Roth.

The group will mark the release of the live album and its first ever TV performance with Roth as lead singer with an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! airing over two nights on March 30th and 31st. The special concert taping will take place on Monday, March 30th on Hollywood Boulevard and will feature songs from Tokyo Dome Live.  As previously announced, the band will also take the stage on The Ellen Show April 2nd.

In addition to the live album release, the band will also reissue several remastered albums including Van Halen and 1984 on March 31, plus remastered versions of Diver Down, Women and Children First, Van Halen II and Fair Warning due out later this spring.
