Looks like Ann Wilson has finally found her “magic man.” Heart’s ferocious frontwoman officially married Dean Wetter, the man she admitted to trying “seduce” more than 30 years ago, in a gorgeous ceremony on Saturday, reports People.
Wilson and Wetter said their ‘I dos’ in an intimate ceremony with family and close friends at her manager, Carol Peter’s, Topanga, CA home. The couple, both 64, told People “we are super blessed to be sharing life together.”
Wilson was dressed in a stunning lavender-hued gown by designer Anthony Sartino, who also designed her a Japanese iris floral crown and flower arrangements. She wore Guiseppe Zanotti shoes and accessorized with “rose-cut white diamonds set in white-gold earring by Rose de France,” according to People.
As for how they first met? It was a true rock star love story for the books.
“Dean and I first met in the ’80s and went on a date where we both got smashed and I tried to seduce him. Like the gentleman he is, he declined. Years passed, we got back in touch after we both grown up, and pow! – it worked! Did it ever!” Wilson revealed.
The band’s official Twitter account said their congrats to the couple:
