Overnight, rap music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs posted $ bail after being arrested for allegedly threatening a strength training coach of his son’s UCLA football team with a kettle bell.
According to CBS LA, the assistant coach was screaming at 21-year-old Justin Combs, a defensive back on the Bruins, while his father watched from the sidelines. Diddy was not happy with was he was seeing or hearing, and allegedly grabbed the coach and confronted him.
In a statement from UCLA police, they say no one was seriously injured, but Diddy was arrested and taken to jail. He now faces three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats, and one count of battery.
After the incident, UCLA head coach Jim More release a statement saying, “I’m thankful that our staff showed the level of professionalism that they did in handling this situation. This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further comment at this time.”
This isn’t the first time Diddy has had a run in with the law. Back in 1999 he was charged with criminal possession of a weapon and stolen goods, but was later acquitted.
