LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities warned of possible traffic congestion during Vice President Joe Biden’s visit to the Southland Monday.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti will join Biden for a roundtable discussion on ways to develop clean technology and job creation in the Southland and nationally.
The event will be staged at the L.A. Cleantech Incubator, founded in 2011 to serve as the hub of the city’s economic strategy to create a green economy and become less dependent on “foreign fuels.”
Biden is scheduled to arrive sometime Monday morning and is expected to attend a Democratic fundraiser this evening. He is scheduled to return to Washington on Tuesday.
