Neil Young is one of Jimmy Fallon’s most celebrated impression subjects. Proving once again that his sense of humor is almost as strong as his political messages, Young dropped by The Tonight Show to perform a duet with the host.

The pair’s vocals on “Two Neil Youngs on a Tree Stump” are incredibly similar, and the audience saw double fedoras and matching costumes. Lyrically, the gag tune waded into apocalyptic territory, driving home Young’s conservation message.”We’re two Neil Youngs sitting on a tree stump,” the song goes. “Used to be a tree trunk/ but look what we’ve done/ Said the father to the son.”

Young is currently promoting Earth, an album that blends songs from Young’s catalog with animal sounds the rock legend recorded in his backyard.
