So many celebrity’s in Nice last week when the French City was attacked leaving 84 people dead.

Sylvester Stallone was there celebrating his 70th birthday, even posting a pic just hours before the incident.

And Bono U2’s front man was there having dinner in a café called Le Petite Mason which is just blocks away from where the incident occurred. He was dining with friends which included the former Mayor of Nice when they saw hordes of people screaming and running toward the restaurant. Bono and the rest of the people inside the café were instructed to close the restaurant’s shutters and take cover.

They hid for about a half hour before police came and escorted everyone out of the place with their hands on their heads, including Bono. This was the second time Bono has been close to a terror attack in France. He was just a few miles away from the horror that unfolded at the Bataclan Theatre last November.

And he has brushed with death before when he was cycling in Central park in 2014. He crashed his bike which left him injured and having to undergo two surgeries, which has affected his guitar playing.

And just last November the door to U2’s private jet flew open during a flight from Dublin to Berlin  while he was on board. Luckily no one was hurt, except the luggage which flew out.
