Before I get to Leslie Jones, yesterday I ran into actor Fred Savage from “The Wonder Years.”

Some people may have seen his recent stints as co-host with Kelly Ripa on “Live.” Many have been speculating, including me, whether or not he would be the permanent host, so I asked him.

He could not have been nicer, even admitting he knows the morning show here. 🙂 But he led me to believe he really was not interested in that gig as a permanent one, but said you never know. Stay tuned.

It’s been a big summer for “SNL” and Ghostbusters star Leslie Jones, so who you gonna call when you need ratings? If you’re the Rio Olympics you call Jones.

The comedian has been incessantly and hilariously live-tweeting during the opening weekend of the Olympics, dressed in a star spangled banner outfit with an American flag wrapped around her, being the ultimate cheerleader and taking watching to a whole new level.

Those live tweets were not only retweeted thousands of times but they went viral and caught the attention of Jim Bell, NBC Olympics Executive Producer. After he received a tweet from Mike Shoemaker telling him to give Leslie a microphone, saying 30% more USA Gold #Ratings, he responded tweeting Jones to come to Rio.

No word yet whether or not she will actually take him up on the offer, but she is thinking about it.
