It’s time to celebrate America’s Independence again this year in Orange County! From fireworks to parades, games and great summertime food, locations around OC are putting on spectacular shows. The following is a complete list.

Featuring a musical simulcast from KSBR 88.5FM, you’ll want to make sure to get there early. For the best spot, sit on the beach or visit the cliffs of Blue Lantern Park or Heritage Park for terrific views of fireworks as they light up the night’s sky.

Join other OC residents in honoring America’s independence with entertaining activities and events along throughout the day. Starting in the day, join others at the Newport Beach Harbor as owners of boats decorate them with everything red, white and blue for the “Old Glory Parade.” In addition, at the Newport Landing, they will offer 3 cruises for the 4th of July including a fireworks cruise. In the evening, the skies will light up for a fireworks display that trumps most. An Independence Day show at the Newport Beach Back Bay will entertain visitors with an incredible display, as well as with live music, food trucks, and a beer and wine garden. The fireworks show begins at 9pm, but get there around 3pm to enjoy plenty of live music.

Offering live entertainment, delicious food, and an amazing fireworks show to end the day, it’s one party you won’t want to miss. Although entry to the festivities is free, primary seating at the fireworks spectacle is not. Individuals hoping to get a VIP seat should purchase tickets here in advance. With a theme of “America The Beautiful,” the celebration will feature a 5k run, a 4th of July parade, and of course fireworks over the ocean at 9pm.

Fireworks will light up the skies above the stadium at 9pm.

Seating in the stadium is available, or bring your oown chairs for seating on the field itself. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at the Community Services Front Counter before July 1 for $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors, or pay $50 for a family pass (2 adults, 4 children).
