Here's wishing a very Happy Birthday to Nancy Sinatra, who turns 80 today.

The oldest child of Ol' Blue Eyes himself, Frank Sinatra, Nancy became a successful Pop singer in her own right during the 1960s, and is best known for her signature tune "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 in 1966.

The following year, Sinatra reached #1 again by teaming up with her dad on the ballad "Something Stupid," which stayed at the top of the Hot 100 for four weeks.

Nancy had several other hit singles during the 1960s, including "How Does That Grab You, Darlin'?," "Sugar Town," "Love Eyes," "Jackson," "Lightning's Girl," "Lady Bird" and "Some Velvet Morning."

"Jackson," "Lady Bird" and "Some Velvet Morning" were duets with Nancy's frequent producer and songwriter, Lee Hazlewood, who also composed "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" and a number of her other hits.

Sinatra also sang the memorable them song to the 1967 James Bond filmYou Only Live Twice, which also nearly broke into the top 40 of the Hot 100.

Besides her music career, Nancy had acting roles in a series of movies during the 1960s, including playing the romantic lead in the 1968 Elvis Presley film Speedway.
