Vanessa Bryant and Daughters Celebrate First Easter Since Kobe and Gianna’s Deaths

April 12, 2020

Vanessa Bryant got in the Easter spirit with her children.

The 37-year-old shared an adorable video of her 3-year-old daughter, Bianka, and 9-month-old, Capri, reported People.

The beginning of the video shows Bianka trying to break into a massive Easter egg decorated with daises. The adorable toddler makes sure she is safe by wearing a pair of protective glasses.

“I’ll help you,” the mother of four says, before helping her daughter to break the egg to find some sweet treats inside.

The mother reveals the treats to an excited toddler.

“Easter Treats!🐰🥚Bianka & Capri,” she captioned the video, which doesn’t feature her 17-year-old daughter Natalia.

This is the first Easter Vanessa is celebrating since her husband, Kobe Bryant, and their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, died in a helicopter crash.

Last month, Natalia Bryant paid tribute to her late father and sister by posing in front of a memorial mural of the two before attending her winter formal.

Vanessa Bryant shared the photo of her eldest daughter on her Instagram.

“❤️ my babies. Natalia. #winterformal,” the mother of four captioned the pic.

The photo features 17-year-old Natalia smiling in front of the mural in a navy dress with white polka dots.

The wall art behind her showcases a touching rendering of Kobe and Gianna sitting next to each other, with the Los Angeles Lakers star kissing the 13-year-old on the head. The image shows Gianna smiling with her eyes closed and leaning on her dad’s shoulder.

In the months after Kobe and Gianna’s deaths, Vanessa has continued to share memories of her late husband and daughter.
